As the heart of the city, you will find Bitcoin Plaza, this will be the main attraction of the entire urban center. The Bitcoin Plaza takes its shape from the graphic design that identifies the crypto. The outline of the “B” for Bitcoin is carved out in the center of the square, a direct reference to the cryptomining, with the two stripes of the dollar sign above and below the letter, which already forms a universal symbol for this digital currency.

The building’s primary function is to be an interactive digital museum, but it gives life to the city and is connected through a lower plaza to the sidewalk. In this way, it serves as a meeting point for the city in the form of a contemporary agora. This new space, designed as a sculptural experience, allows the city to access the building through long and smooth ramps from the rambla to the Bitcoin Plaza, offering the possibility of visiting the digital museum inside.

Once in the upper plaza, a staircase welcomes the users to lead them inside the museum. The museum’s main topic would be a deep narrative of the history of money approached from an interactive and modern point of view.

The courtyard will form curved and straight walls around a sunken patio. The idea is that this square becomes a place of pilgrimage for a growing number of people around the world who understand the revolution that Bitcoin means in the global economy.

Within the same courtyard, there are two rooms for the exhibition of the city, the design and its development. It is like an auditorium for conferences and are designed in the form of “Dots” that make up the graphic design of Bitcoin.

The exit of the museum can be developed in three different ways: the first two, through the cafeteria or a bookstore as desired by the user. However, the third exit complements the user experience. It is a small door that leads to the plaza below and reintegrates the user back into the city towards the rambla.

Of course, it will be the most iconic place in the urban area, at the center of the other points of interest and connected to all the city epicenters. Aware of this, Bitcoin Plaza assists the city with a high-capacity public and central parking lot. The main idea of the design of this site museum will be an international attraction that will boost tourism and the economic growth of El Salvador.
