This rational Pavilion C, inspired by the architectural language of Luis Barragán, contrasts in its use of colors and materials and revolves around architecture and art. Within the artist residences on top, art will be produced. In the open auditorium, art will be taught through workshops and lectures. Finally, in the impressive open space cantilever, art will be exhibited. Below the art exhibition, there will be an art depot where art will be maintained, stored, selected, and distributed.

This Pavilion will be a crucial contribution to the overall foundation of the Cuadra San Cristobal project, a multidisciplinary foundation focused on architecture and art, celebrating the work of Luis Barragán. This pavilion is also designed to host large events such as weddings, fairs, and corporate events.

Located next to the famous patio of Cuadra San Cristobal, the pavilion is perfectly aligned in both plan and height, respecting the original proportions of the site. Important architectural elements of Luis Barragán are reinterpreted and incorporated into the pavilion, such as stairs, water, light, and shadow, and of course, the ultimate perfection of proportion.

The circulation through this pavilion is continuous, with accessible roofing through the structural wall and stair elements dividing the pavilion and program in two. On top, you will find large structural beams integrated into the design, creating space and directing views towards the Luis Barragán estate.
