“Innovation and Technology Center’’ is located in Querétaro, a pole of economic development and a part of a global dynamic with investment attractions, and with an urban district in the city.

This project will function as a focus of development and productivity, enhancing local capabilities for a more balanced environmental development and innovation-oriented education, which will accommodate problem solving and critical thinking necessary to form community human capital.

The complex will also feature a landscape design with spaces for recreation, entertainment, sports, cultural events to inhabit and contemplate the landscape through the senses, with the main theme being the resilience of the land.

The Innovation and Technology Center, with its “cube” design, will be a state-of-the-art building where activities will be developed in accordance with advances in technology, sustainability, education, entrepreneurship and entertainment that will contribute to and promote community well-being.

The project is a cube of 43m x 43m x 43m, which is deployed from level 0.0 which is the level of access plazas and consists of a basement, first floor and six levels plus the roof, with openings and terraces to the facade. Having a large space (atrium) from the auditorium to the roof dome allows a large entrance of light and connection between the PB floors to the 7th level. The seismic-resistant structural system was resolved by means of ordinary steel frames in both directions, having the required safety against the appearance of any possible failure limit state in the face of the most unfavorable combinations of actions that may occur during its useful life, and, on the other hand, not exceeding any service limit state in the face of actions that correspond to normal operating conditions.
